Over the past week and a half, me and my class have been practicing the basic shots that compose a film. Here are a few of my favorite shots.
Shot 1- Extreme Close-Up, I really appreciate this shot because it gives a good look on expression and can also reveal certain things to the audience. Shot 2- Full Shot, This (along with medium) is the most basic shots to capture, It is used the most often. Shot 3- Extreme /Low Angle, This shot is great, it can reveal thing to the viewers, it also just gives the viewer something different to look at. Shot 4- Medium Shot, Again this is one of the most popular and basic shots in film, it just shows the main point(s) of interest. Shot 5- Close-Up, A close-up is also used a lot, it is used to show emotion and to focus on just one thing. Shot 6- Birds Eye, This was the most difficult to capture, to was hard to get in the right position to make the shot look ok.
