Solar Eclipse 2017 at Ladue Horton Watkins High SchoolIt was a great, once in a life time event. I'm so glad I got to enjoy this event, especially from my school. It was also very cool to see the reactions from my classmates. The Interviews afterwards were amazing. This was the first video package I've made in over a year and I think it turned out great. Thanks for everyone who was apart of the video Interview with YonWe interviewed Yan Rybak. He talked about his project he is doing for his world history class. I think it was really fun, and we got a lot of film. We interviewed a second person, but we didn't need to use that footage. I think the project was fun and it was very interesting to learn about what other classes are doing. Newscast ReflectionsWe worked really hard on the script, we took along time editing it and revising it. All of worked really hard to make sure we had no errors in the script. I think that we did really good. One thing I could've did better in is to slow down. At some points I felt like I talked to fast to make the time shorter. i think I should've read the script more to get more familiar with it and not feel as nervous. because I didn't look confident. I think we did really well and everyone worked super hard. Interview with a professionalDuring the making of the video learned a lot of thing about maintenance, like what certifications you need to do things like repair a broken AC. My greatest success was getting the actual film for the video, the easiest part was putting it together. The biggest challenge for me was getting the b-roll, because I didn't get enough footage for it, so i had to use pictures of him and use little footage of him cleaning a AC. I also couldn't get a second interview, he was very busy and kept having to push back the interview.
